How to get the effect of decluttering without getting rid of anything

When it comes to decluttering, most experts will recommend that the best way to carry out a successful decluttering session in your home is to get rid of anything that you no longer need, that you don’t want or is broken. If your problem is furniture and a lack of floor space the advice is usually to get rid of a couple of items to open up space in a room and make it feel less cluttered.

This is good advice, that is of course provided that you do actually have items that you rarely use and can afford to get rid of.
